THE TEAM BEHIND THIS PROJECT

The Aitsa Awards (Aitsa Afrikaanse Musiektoekennings) is a prestigious annual live production presented by Pretoria FM. Celebrating excellence in the Afrikaans music industry, the independent awards honour outstanding achievements by top artists, songwriters, producers, and newcomers across various musical genres.
The 2024 awards show saw up to 1000 audience members come to celebrate. The show featured a setlist of the top performers, including a tribute to the late Jan Bloukaas by Spoegwolf.
Maintaining the creative direction across all the different songs was a priority for this client.

DESIGN BRIEF

We developed a vibrant visual production experience the Aitsa Awards in 2024, in collaboration with Looped Pictures, created to fully immerse the fans and audience members. Much of the deliverables had to translate well onto TV since the event was streamed live. All the audio-visual elements had to compliment the performer and their backup dancers.

Project Wins

Visually engaging AV across 6 different songs in the setlist that captures the energy and excitement of the event, mirroring the creative direction provided. The team was invited to watch the show and join the Spotify afterparty.
